I will present a formula for the integral cohomology ring of certain toric surfaces. Using a homotopy theoretical approach, we determine the product structure with respect to a cellular basis. This structure reveals a duality when compared with the intersection theory of torus-invariant divisors over the rationals. The symmetric matrices representing these product structures are inverses of each other. This is joint work with TseLeung So and Jongbaek Song.
